But the explanation of the involved and, in an interview with the daily La Tercera missing, acknowledged that already doesn’t think so: “those sayings are taken from previous interviews, I don’t know exactly when they are, and do not reflect my current position”.
“First, never I have minimized the human rights violations that were committed in Chile. Today the important thing for me as a Minister is put aside what divides us and concentrate on the job future, which has to be based on the unit and we have to be quite generous. That article and those words are not part of this spirit and, therefore, today that is very far from what I have to say, what I have to say and what I mean”.
Rojas concludes by adding to not create controversy to complicate its relationship with artists.
