He stressed that marking this trend of annual growth, it is estimated that at the end of this 2018, operations reach more than 700 thousand air movements, that translates into an increase of 47 percent over the year 2015, as a result of the opening of new flights to destinations such as Mexicali, Tijuana, city of Mexico, Fresno and San José California, as well as the increase in the frequency of the same flights, which in addition to the new routes that will begin operations next month of October with destinations to Monterrey and Tijuana with the airline Viva Aerobus.
He added that considering an average of four thousand dollars per ticket of aircraft and the arrival of passengers to the city of Morelia, estimated an economic impact at the end of this year to exceed more than a thousand 410 million 181 thousand 607 pesos, which could represent an economic impact to be superior to 47% with respect to the year 2015.
Aquique Arrieta thanked the confidence of tourists, already in terms of domestic passengers has been also an average growth of around 19 per cent of the year 2015 to 2017, which represents an average of more than 47 thousand passengers increase that they travel from different parts of Mexico to Morelia.
In this sense considering annual average growth trend, it is estimated that at the end of the year 2018 the movement of passengers at the airport will overcome 384 thousand passengers, representing a growth of 67 percent compared to the year 2015.
