translated from Spanish: César Muñoz, actor of roulette Rosa: “yet people find disgusting our gay world”

this work is original from the Chilean director Nibaldo Maturana and for him, is “a chance to talk about topics that are not well received by the company, such as sexuality between two men or the fact that any femininity in masculinity is seen in a repulsive way”.
For César, one of the protagonists of these five homosexual stories, is a play that makes visible the reality gay as a great goal. “Yet people find disgusting our world homosexual and this work allows people to get closer and see the relationship between these characters and makes one see the worlds of each.”
-What to do regarding the morbidity of the Chilean public in the execution of this work?
-Cesar: Sex has always been as a bad thing, and there is that morbid because it is still not as something natural and there is a branch of theatre more queer or more tail. The thing is different in Argentina, there is a much more natural and free move and here as that is just beginning. I believe that there must be more theater that talk and teach this.
-How is the cross between humor and critical points of the homosexual community in this work?
-Nibaldo: being super self-critical, we are not in demand in the work processes. We talk a lot of our community and our niche. We laugh from that and thus take care of misogyny, discrimination and sexism that exists in our community. That is why it is important to learn new languages and currents to go reaching those places of Exchange and also teach it.

-What happened when requesting only homosexual actors for casting?
-Nibaldo: On the one hand many heterosexual men felt discriminated against, saying that it was discrimination to only call to gay actors and also happened that many of us are offended because they were told ‘tail’, found him a lack of respect. It was all reaction.
-Caesar: I find a wonder that for a few minutes at least, the hetero community have felt discriminated against and minorizada. We us it always.
-What’s the difference between Chile and Argentina when faced with your work?
-Nibaldo: There is a terrible heteronorma who is present and marking Chile. There people have fewer problems with the feminine place and there is a sense of the use of the public space for the constant visibility while everything here is more underground and hidden. The press in Argentina made a criticism where qualified roulette pink as “not suitable for susceptible” then understood what the eyes of the public.

-Would you give any warning to those who are susceptible?
-Nibaldo: If there are people who offends him homosexuality and are uncomfortable with the cola world and they decide to go see the work, probably going to go wrong, because there is much truth and exposure. But if there are people who want to understand other perspectives of homosexuality and dare to understand it or receive it, you are welcome to enjoy the mounting.
-Caesar: The work will always speak of love, interact with other affective way and that is transverse to tails, heteros, whatever they want.  This work in particular is a story gay, as there are all sorts of stories in the world and has to be so simple: see a history of humans.
-At the end, Nibaldo and Caesar left open the possibility of being onlookers with an invitation for the following Wednesday in August:-Cesar: curiosity is very funny. We invite you to learn about the gay world and see that everything is much closer to what they think, which is much easier to integrate.
-Nibaldo: I hope that this work be allowed to see beyond and leave modified, because whenever one sees something you change another aspect, either for better or for worse and open the mind to see a little bit more.
