Erpino “pino” Totaro is interned since Aug. 6 in an expensive clinic of the Mayan Riviera in Mexico, with a lung condition that prevents him from returning and without the company’s health care coverage.
It all started when the 80-year-old man took a plane to Mexico along with his spouse, her daughter, her son-in-law and her granddaughter. In full flight, he suffered a decompensation which alerted all passengers and must be assisted there same. Arriving at the airport, it was derived from urgency since it presented a severe picture of pneumonia.
Erpino Totaro (80) is interned since nearly 15 Diasla company “International Assist” passenger informed them that it could not give them coverage in this case because the report “found pre-existence” of the disease. The health care institution calls for 3,600 dollars for each day of hospitalization.
