And it is that Ruben and Marcela, two patients of the Jalisco delegation, raised a complaint against the IMSS since it provided them with an appointment for March 2019, i.e., six months later.
In the case of Ruben, who suffers from diabetes for about fifteen years, recently informed that it will require an injection of insulin daily; However, this drug has a high cost, that it must be valued by a specialist, since there are different types and you can vary the dose. The man bothered said “the insulin already, need it not within six months, right now I have been buying it, but the truth is that I can not always be paying”.
Meanwhile, Marcela Ortiz, is a patient who began to fail in the vision, reason by which gave a pass to ophthalmology; However, a big surprise was when the IMSS gave him the appointment to March 2019.
“My doctor gave me the pass and I went to ask for quotation on Thursday of last week, but I got it to March 2019, I guess that is more demand than supply of specialists, but yes I was disappointed”.
