“My appreciation goes to official delegations from many countries have come to pay homage to the new saints, who have contributed to the spiritual and social progress of the respective Nations,” said Francisco.

He also greeted the ones of Canterbury, Rowan Williams, leader of the Anglican Church who came to canonization, a Romero statue is placed already among the Saints in Westminster Abbey.
The Pope concluded the celebration with a health to the pilgrims and also who followed the ceremony on the radio and the television.
He asked a last prayer to the Virgin for “which help us to follow the example of the new saints”.
