the Attorney General of Justice of the city of Mexico (PGJCDMX) investigates the murder of a 14-year-old boy, found inside a suitcase on Tuesday morning, in the close to Tlatelolco, Mayor Cuauhtemoc.
In a statement, the Attorney General reported that at approximately 09:00 o’clock they had knowledge of the discovery of the suitcase inside which was the teenager, who had been reported as missing from 23:00 hours on Monday, when he did not return to his home in colonia Santa Maria la Ribera.
According to the Reforma newspaper reports, the victim was identified by relatives as Ingrid Alison, who went home Monday night to visit a few friends in Tlatelolco, and did not return.
The journal explained that in the Allende building, located close to the place where they found the suitcase were found blankets and sheets with blood stains, which could be related to the murder of the child.
The PGJCDMX secured the property began an investigation for the crime of femicide and said it is collecting testimonies and evidence that allow to find those responsible.
Between January and September 2018, 32 femicides were committed in the city of Mexico: seven of them with gun fire, 2 with stab and 23 with other elements, according to the Executive Secretariat of the national system of public security (SNSP).
At the national level, the SNSP recorded 607 femicides.
