a cyclist, of approximately 20 years, died this morning after being hit by a bus at the intersection of the avenues Cuauhtemoc and Chapultepec, in the colonia Roma Norte, City Hall Cuauhtemoc.
The young, Ecobici user, crossing avenida Cuauhtemoc around 8:15 in the morning this Tuesday when hit it an official bus of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN) turning the Chapultepec to Cuauhtemoc.
Emergency services arrived at the scene of the accident, however, the young man already had vital signs.
The area where it was his body was cordoned off by police, waiting for experts to do the lifting.
Driver unit with plates 3CVG, 61 years old, was arrested and transferred to the Ministry public of the Mayor Cuauhtemoc where will yield his declaration.
After hearing the news, the Ministry of the environment of the Government of the city of Mexico reported that it deeply regrets the death of the girl, who was Ecobici user.
For its part the IPN also regretted the death of the cyclist then it was reported that the unit involved belongs to the institution.
