Action, noted of the PAN senators, is “to safeguard the separation of powers, protecting State sovereignty and federal Pact”.

“The compensation law has a section that violates the autonomy of the Supreme Court of Justice of the nation and the system of Justice,” said the leader of citizen movement, Clemente Castañeda.
“We support reducing wages and privileges of senior officials: President, senators, deputies and autonomous bodies.” That part of the law is safe. We are in agreement. What we oppose is the attempt by the President, and its legislative majority, submit and control, through the definition of wages, the Supreme Court. “We cannot allow it: Mexico needs that those responsible for the delivery of Justice have full autonomy”, added.
In previous days, it was reported that the Supreme Court had also received an action of inconstucionalidad against the Federal law of compensation, part of the National Commission of human rights (CNDH).
“The NHRC estimated necessary that the remuneration of public servants are regulated
pursuant to the Mexican constitutional system in its entirety, and accordingly considered that
the LFRSP did not develop, according to the text” “constitutionally, the parameters or rules necessary to make it effective, among other issues which, in the opinion of this protective institution of human rights, could mean its application”, considered the Commission.
