The Game Awards (antes conocidos como los VGA) son los premios más importantes de la industria de los videojuegos, otorgados por la prensa internacional y organizados por Geoff Keighley, uno de los periodistas de mayor perfil de la industria.
Este año los grandes candidatos son los esperados: Red Dead Redemption 2 y God of War, con 8 nominaciones por cabeza.
