Mexico kicked off the 2019 with a new illustration of the political violence that runs through the country. In yesterday, he was murdered in the State of Oaxaca, Alejandro Aparicio, who was riddled with bullets as he addressed the City Council for the first time after having taken possession. Aparicio was part of the movement of national regeneration (Morena), political space that constituted the arrival of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO). At the same time, more than 140 mayors have been assassinated and States such as Guerrero and Michoacan are now ruled by criminal organizations. On 16 December, Olga Kobel, Mayor of Juarez, was found dead after having been missing for six days. The State Prosecutor’s Office arrested three people, including a Government contractor municipal which had had a relationship with the official. In the case of Aparicio, when security forces have failed to stop one of the aggressors. In this sense, the Governor of Oaxaca, Alejandro Murat, said via his Twitter account the following: “I asked for a thorough investigation to the Attorney general and this tells me has already detained the probable author of the killing”. For his part the President of the party brunette, Yeidckol Polevnsky, lamented the loss and said: “Time Rogue cowardly attacks against governments elected by the people”, wrote the policy, adding that “hatred and violence”.
