Morelia, Michoacan.-the Government installed a table of dialogue together with the Federal Government and a representation of the Michoacan teachers in order to find a solution comprehensive and background in the field of educational services in the State.
With the representation of the Governor Silvano Aureoles Conejo, the Secretary of Government, Pascual Sigala Páez, and the representative of the Secretariat of public education, Hector Garza González, the roundtable dialogue was established with the teachers in the mood for the consensus that contribute to benefit educational system in the State.
Responsible for internal policy reiterated the will of the State administration, to achieve the necessary agreements that allow to give certainty to the payment of the education payroll, once the Government withdrew from the agreement signed in 1992 and amended in 2014 , for its uneven and disadvantageous for the entity.
“The State has serious difficulties with debt that didn’t do us; We inherited it. You, the teachers, have rightly that timely paid them their salaries and bonuses, but the Government does not have the solvency and that we’re working”, he said.
Sigala Páez stressed that this first approach seeks to consolidate a route that allows you to build a new concurrency with the Federation Agreement, so the Michoacan teachers have the same conditions in terms of wages and benefits.
“We are working on it and that we have attended the Federation to address this structural part, which requires the will and disposition of all parties,” said.
In this regard, reiterated that this Friday will be coming 200 million pesos, as the Governor Silvano Aureoles Conejo, announced it in order to pay for the first two weeks of January to the Magisterium and works to establish conditions permitting to cover in time and manner the payment of the second half.
The Workbench will continue with State, federal authorities and trade union representation of the Magisterium.
Also present at the meeting were under Secretary of finance and administration, Sonia strong Armenta; the Under-Secretary of the Interior, Armando Hurtado Arévalo; the legal adviser of the Executive, Lenin Sanchez Rodriguez; the Coordinator General of Social communication, Julieta López Bautista; federal delegate of the Ministry of welfare, Roberto Pantoja Arzola; and the President of the Commission of the Congress of State education, Antonio Madriz Estrada.
