the National Commission of human rights (CNDH) investigates the death of a 28-year-old man who was shot in the head by elements of the army, who apparently fired him by mistake. 
The incident occurred during the morning of 29 January, in the Claudett colony, in the city again Laredo. The Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Human Rights Committee reported that the man, who was a spouse father of three daughters, was shot in the head while searching for materials to build with the co-worker.
“The elements of the Mexican army apparently fired them by a confusion,” says the statement from the Committee.
After shooting him, according to the Committee, the same military called an ambulance and drove the move, first to the Hospital San José and then to the General Hospital, but the two nosocomios denied care by the severity of the wound.
Although not explained in where it was finally served, the man died Wednesday 6 February as a result of the wound.
The Secretariat of national defense would have already started an internal investigation into the 16 Regiment motorized Cavalry of Nuevo Laredo, to clarify the facts.
