The evening is developed as a television program live where three connoted poets transvestites gather to talk about their latest literary works. Surrounded by books, souvenirs and poems laugh absolutely everything, because that is what its freshness: the pride of who they are regardless of what others think. The poetry recited during the evening belongs to León de Greiff, Sussy Shock, Alfonsina Storni and Germán Stieches.
The first installation of “Las Poetisas” was developed last year with the coarse Las company in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Initially was made as a tribute to Batato Barea, Alejandro Urdapilleta and Humberto Tortonese, three actors art trasandino queer, pioneers in the Café concert format icons.
