March 8 today Google celebrates the international women’s day with an interactive presentation of inspiring quotations designed by 13 women from various backgrounds and recognized by their apo rtaciones in different fields, such as science, art, sports and space in this day doodle. 13 notable women appearing in the doodle today are Mexican artist Frida Kahlo; the Japanese artist Yoko Ono; Indian Olympic boxer Mary Kom; the British suffragist Millicent Fawcett, the American astronaut Dr. Mae Jemison, the Nigerian writer Chimamanda Adichie, among others. Google says that selecting the thirteen citations was very difficult. “The process of choosing thirteen citations was extremely difficult, but our goal was to include a representation of diverse voices in a day that celebrates the past, present and future Community of diverse worldwide women,” said Google. “We present inspiring quotations in several languages by thirteen international pioneers, both of the past and the present,” said Google in its file doodle, and added that the appointments were viewed by a global group of female artists.
