Disney +, the streaming service that Disney will be releasing this year continues adding great titles. After confirming spin-off of the film Star Wars and Marvel universes, the company today announced Monsters At Work, a series based on Monsters Inc., the film of Pete Docter, released in 2001. To differ from what was Monsters University, the terrible prequel released in 2013, Monsters At Work will take place six months after the end of the original film. It will tell the story of Tylor Tuskmon (Ben Feldman), a talented mechanical of the Monsters Inc. factory, who dreams of working on the floor in laughter along with Mike and Sulley.
For those who have lived inside a thermos for the past twenty years, they do not remember the end of the best Pixar movie or (much worse) not seen, at the end of Monsters, Inc. Mike and Sulley discovers that the laughter of children is much more powerful than the cries so they take control of the factory and replace the scares by acts of comedy. In fact the film ends with Sulley by placing the last piece in front of Boo and returning to find the girl, but now I cry just to remind you, so stick with the previous scene. Billy Crystal and John Goodman will return to play Mike and Sulley respectively, and also confirmed the presence of Bob Peterson (Roz), John Ratzenberger (Yeti) and Jennifer Tilly (Celia). The new voices include Kelly Marie Tran as Val Little, best friend and confidante of Tylor; Henry Winkler as Fritz, the leader of the operation; Lucas Neff as Duncan, an opportunistic plumber; Alanna Ubach as Cutter, a strict clerk; Stephen Stanton as the rowdy Smitty and Needleman; and Aisha Tyler as Millie Tuskmon, mother of Tylor.Dado, who is currently in charge of Pixar, Pete Docter won’t be directly involved in the project. The series will feature the talents of veteran Bobs Gannaway (plans: Fire and Rescue) as executive producer and Ferrel Barron (plans: Fire and Rescue) as producer. Kat Good and Rob Gibbs will share the address. Monsters At Work has no release date confirmed yet but is expected to make its debut in 2020.En this note:
