now two weeks could live in first person the sixth edition of the Lollapalooza Festival, where passed by many artists for three days to pure music, with the outstanding shows of pink Lia, Lenny Kravitz and Arctic Monkeys.Pero will now do an internal journey, on a tour of bands who opened the three days, with varied and expectant public to hear new sounds. Day one began with the official opening of the hand of telescopes, an emerging band of Cordoba, which deployed all its indie sound with aires Mac DeMarco in the Main Stage 1, a hungry audience of music who enjoyed the good vibe during the half-hour show. Come noon it was the hour of the show of 1915, a young band in ascent that made dance and sing to the people with their hit “Police” and more songs from her album “Flag”. Appeared right after knowing Russia in the other main stage, with an invitation to enjoy well-crafted love songs and catchy melodies. With the Visual of that country, “Russian” Mateo Sujatovich showed why their debut album was as well received by the audience, accompanied by her excellent band and their great compositions. The virtuoso touch in this section came from the hand of Escalandrum, a project where it participates Daniel Piazzolla, grandson of Astor, and where the musical quality of their performers dominated the scene. No visual and a sound proposal away from the common Festival, the band gave musical Chair with his great ability to blend jazz, tango, folklore and Latin American rhythms in a show that left most nerd-musical audience happy. (The evidence is in this version of “Adiós Nonino”) Already for a little after 15 pm, and with larger audiences, Parcels appeared onstage with all a cataract of indie/funk/pop hits executed to perfection. The native of Australia with residence in Berlin was shown as the event outstanding international indie of the time sunny San Isidro hippodrome and took all the love of the public.
Kamasi Washington / photo: Nicolas curtain already at 16 pm had to be divided for two very different but equally attractive proposals: on the one hand, the virtuosity and the sweetness of the SAX Kamasi Washington, which thrilled lovers of n skins new jazz, trying to adapt their sound bounded to a concert of overwhelming dimensions, which did not happen without certain technical difficulties. On the other side of the venue, Alex Anwandter brought its direct electropop of Chile to do dance to the audience with hits such as “How can you live with yourself?” and “Always is Friday in my heart”, which was all the applause and affection of the people. We finished this short trip through the first proposals of the day with the emergence of Portugal. The Man, who already managed to gather a large amount of fans and fans with an intro where mixed “For Whom the Bell Tolls” of Metallica and “Another Brick in the Wall Part 2” of Pink Floyd. Would later achieve extasiar audiences with own temazos like “Purple Yellow Red and Blue”, “Live in the Moment” and the closing at full blast with “Feel It Still”.
