Colombian authorities captured this Saturday the boyfriend the Sergeant withdrawal of Carabineros Ilse Amory Ojeda González, 51, who is missing almost a month ago and they assured that they scanned a few remains found in the northeast of the coffee country to establish whether they are of the Chilean.
The capture of the Colombian Juan Guillermo Valderrama Amézquita, 28 years old, was held in the area under glass, in the city of Bucaramanga.
“Tonight will be presented before a judge in control of guarantees and will fall to him the crime of enforced disappearance”, pointed out the national police and the Prosecutor’s Office in a statement.
According to the account of the facts, Ojeda González entered Colombia on March 5 this year coming from Chile and along with her partner traveled to Medellin, in northwestern Colombia, and later to the municipalities of Puerto Parra and Curiti, in the Department of Santander (northeast), to finally settle the 25th of the same month in the capital of that region, Bucaramanga.
The last time that it was reported of women was March 30 in a shop of the low glass district, area where Valderrama resides and in which the couple apparently discussed an alleged infidelity of the Colombian.
While the past April 11 Alejandra Margarita Ojeda, sister of Ilse Amory, reported on their social networks the disappearance, the complaint in Colombia only was filed by Juan Guillermo Valderrama six days later.
From that moment, “in inquiries inconsistencies were found in the statements delivered by Valderrama, especially in what refers to the date of demise of the Chilean excarabinera”, explained the authorities.
Even, they added, “the woman’s cell phone and credit card were found in the vehicle of Valderrama”.
In addition, managed to establish that last February Ojeda González purchased life insurance by 100 million pesos ($30.972) and whose beneficiary is captured today.
In a press conference in Bogota authorities announced Saturday that the National Institute of Legal Medicine and forensic sciences analyses some remains found yesterday in Rionegro municipality, which is part of the Department of Santander, to establish if they correspond to the Chilean citizen.
