Unanimously, the superior chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of the Judiciary of the Federation (TEPJF) confirmed the fine to the party Morena for 725,400 pesos imposed by the National Electoral Institute for Unfulfilling Obligations in matters of transparency, access to the Information and protection of personal data.
According to the Tribunal, Morena was penalized for failing to comply with its legal obligation to publish in electronic media information on transparency and access to information, as well as for not providing in the relevant format the required data.
The information is related to contract formats and agreements for the acquisition or leasing of goods and services; Minutes of regular and extraordinary sessions; Expenses of representation and per diem; Method of selection of candidates and their obligations; Reports of results from audits to budgetary exercises; Amounts destined for expenses related to social communication and official publicity, among other aspects.

Morena asked in his resources to declare that there had been no breach or in any case it was minor misdemeanours.
The party challenged the fines because it considered excessive and disproportionate the sum; And he said it was the product of an inadequate assessment of the evidence he presented to the authority.
The judges considered the grounds of Morena unfounded and confirmed the fine.
