María Paz Díaz, who is originally from Chile, surprises her followers in social networks by publishing an image in which she poses alongside several models as part of a campaign she called «emotive and inclusive». The photograph is placed by Paz Díaz in Instagram and is seen in blue underwear and acopañada of four other models. Maria is well-known in her country, as she was the winner of the «Miss World in Wheelchair» contest. The photo is part of the #FlorecePorDentro campaign, which seeks to «fashion world-wide turn to reality.» Next to the image, the Chilean shares its experience:
When I proposed to do this campaign I only thought of fears and doubts. What are you going to say, how am I going to look?, how am I going to be in my underwear in front of so many people if I’ve never worn a bikini?! «he said.
Today @floreschile launches its campaign #FlorecePorDentro an emotive and inclusive campaign, to which I was invited to participate.. I must admit, I went through several stages and would like to tell.. A long time ago my dear @vanirosenthal showed me a nice inclusive campaign that took place in another country and I said «I wish we could get to that in Chile!» (Mira Vanii!).. When I proposed to do this campaign I only thought of fears and doubts.. What are they going to say? How am I going to look? As I will be in underwear in front of so many people if I have never used a bikini! ♀️ then I understood, it was an incredible opportunity to face what I hid for so long after my accident.. I! And it is that despite accepting and loving me, I have always had insecurities and needed this to close that cycle, something that would allow me to show the world as I am.. With my rolls, my skinny legs (more photos coming!) and everything that scared me that people would see of me.. In the midst of all I hesitated and keep hesitating as I write this, but this campaign means so much to me that I can not stop sharing it with you, because I want all to have the ability to flourish and love and we always dare! We are all different and beautiful in our own way.. Thanks to these preciosuras for making everything fluid and entertaining, they are the most! Maria admits she didn’t think much of it to agree to participate in the project, as she realized it was a great opportunity to face what she hid for so long.
