Mazatlan.-The plastic artist Carlos Flores known as Carlos Z, celebrates 20 years of experience and does so with new proposals and initiating renewed artistic and visual panoramas, which will be part of his next exhibitions.

The artist inaugurated the last days his exhibition “Complementary”, in the gallery Baupres, in Mazatlan. Which is composed of 13 pieces including paintings, engravings, installations and art-objects. The name of some works is Faure, automatic, action, time and place; Intangible, cable car and Skull heart. Some made in mixed techniques. The pieces have been made over 20 years of travel, dating from 2001 to 2019.

He wanted with this sample to close a cycle of craciones and start new creations. “These 20 years of plastic work, helped me to know about techniques, mixes and Recuersos graphics that have given strength to my work, now I think it’s time to start new pieces, change topics and show that growth,” he said.

The painter also showed his work in the exhibition “hybrids” that expusó in the Masin in Culiacan (which was removed on 13 May), with which the same adds to the stage of closing cycles and start new creations in different presentations from installations and paintings Abstract.

For now the exhibitions want to take it to several cities, there is already a proposal to present it in Tijuana, supported by the painter Alvaro Blanca.
In his new stage he wishes to present works with more color and cleanliness in his lines, leaving behind the characters he used to use in his pieces.

The artist has a great career, has won several awards, including Lopez Sáenz, Salón de la Plistica Sinaloa Biennial, whose prize won the 2004 and 2310. His pieces have also had several nominations. His first exhibition was made in 2001 and led by title “Hologram”, took place at the Museum of Art of Mazatlan.

“Art is my life, it represents a necessity as a human being in order to express myself. As I thought about showing my subjects, I never thought about being famous, or selling my paintings expensive, I think art is the search for oneself. ”
