Two officials from the Directorate-General for Culture and education of the province of Buenos Aires were arrested for embezzlement of public funds and Illicit association. They used 600 debit cards for personal purchases: sports boats, cars, ATVs, motorcycles and jet skis, among other objects. We’re talking millions of pesos.
This is Gustavo Chirambero and Diego Burgos, heads of the fuel and Atutomotores Department of the educational portfolio. Néstor Casado and Horacio Gabriel Makowski were also apprehended, who were not detained because they filed an order to exempt justice from prison.
The arrests occurred after a series of raids that were made in La Plata, Berisso, City Bell and Punta Lara.
