The municipality of Puente Alto, through its Cultural Corporation, invites all the Puentealtinos to celebrate the 20 years of the National Heritage Day, an activity that is already a tradition in our country and that this year bears the motto: “Together We make patrimony”.
In Puente Alto, the festival will take place in our Cultural center, on Sunday 26th May, from 15:30 hours, and have entertaining activities designed for the whole family, which not only aim to make known the material heritage, but also Valuing and recognizing the intangible heritage and the people who transmit it and preserve it through different artistic expressions.
In this new version we will rescue different traditions and elements that form part of our identity, through exhibitions of: Typical costumes, antique cars and Patrimonial photography of Puente Alto, workshops of Mapuche herbal, presentation of Chinchineros and organ-grinders and a Dixie Band, Lambe-Lambe theatre, and Minutea photography, among others.
The event also adds a parade of giant puppets, which recorrán the enclosure and with which the public will be able to interact.
