Spain.-A woman has received harsh criticism in the network after posting a video on her personal profile of Instagram in which she gave smoking to her son, only 11 months. According to the newspaper El Español, the images show how the mother, resident in Madrid, puts the cigarette in the mouth of the child and laughs when he thanks. The baby prepares to take the cigar and another one of the present, a man, says “no” to prevent it from burning. The boy then starts to cry.
The mother broadcasted the video on Instagram next to the message “Listen bien,” followed by several emoticons of hearts and laughter. After his publication, he received a barrage of messages criticizing his attitude, which led her to apologize publicly.
The woman alleges that she wanted to dissuade the small one from the tobacco, “like the mother who peppers the pacifier so that the child is disgusted”
In a note disseminated through the same social network, the woman said she was “very repentant” and recognized that the video had no “grace”. He explained that he gave his son smoking because “if he sees the father smoking he wants the cigar as if it were food”, and he thought that putting it in his mouth would deter him. “As the mother who peppers the pacifier for the child to be disgusted,” he prayed in his message.
“I was wrong, and I’m super sorry and scared for everything that’s messing around,” he concluded.
