The Commission unanimously took this decision following the complaint made by the PAN in which the dissemination of the conferences is considered as an act of “government propaganda that could improperly affect” in the elections in Aguascalientes, Baja California, Durango, Puebla, Quintana Roo and Tamaulipas.
Initially this measure was intended to apply only for public channels such as 11, 14 and 22, but the members of the Commission “determined to extend the measure to all social media, including the Internet and to notify all concessionaires of Radio and television on the criterion of the guidelines mandated by the INE, “according to the National Electoral Institute, Political Animal.
The INE clarified that any means may resume the lectures but cannot reproduce them in full and/or uninterrupted form in the elections entities.
