translated from Spanish: Oil production, downwards for third month in a row

Although the government of Andrés Manuel López Obrador has presumed that it managed to “stabilize” the fall in oil production, official figures show that in May there was again a drop in crude oil production.
It’s the third month in a row.
From February to March, production fell from 1 million 701 thousand barrels per day, to 1 million 691 barrels per day. Then, from March to April it dropped from 1 million 691 thousand barrels per day to 1 million 675 thousand barrels per day.
And the most recent figure is a crude oil production of 1 million 663 thousand barrels per day in May, 12 thousand less than the previous month.
Compared to the Production Figure of May 2018, it is a 10% drop, since at that time production was 1 million 850 thousand barrels per day.
