Pátzcuaro, Michoacán.- The municipal president, Víctor Báez Ceja, called for the first massive reforestation to be carried out in the municipality and simultaneously this Friday, June 28 in Estribo Grande and Cerro Blanco, where it is intended to sow in a single morning 10 thousand trees.
The call is extended on World Tree Day and will be held this Friday at 8 a.m., so the president was confident that students, teachers, artisans, civil associations, clubs, environmentalists, carriers and, in general, all the social sectors that make up the population of the municipality.
He stated that it was obtained by these two places by virtue of the municipality representing the leisure spaces par excellence, but above all, because the reforestation contributed to the conservation of the basin of Lake Pátzcuaro.
The present activity that will take place in Estribo Grande and Cerro Blanco are part of the public policy carried out by the current government with the aim of taking care of and protecting the environment and, of course, to stop the deterioration that is suffering the Lake.
