Mexico’s Alejandra Estrella won her third in the Universiada Mundial Naples 2019 on Sunday, winning gold in mixed diving mode with Diego Balleza from the 10-meter platform.
But not only her, but also Dolores Hernández and Carolina Mendoza did it on the three-meter synchronized springboard.
This Sunday’s activity in Italy was the best for domestic competitors, as the two gold medals were signed up in the double day, and left on the way to the Chinese, wide contenders for the title.
On the 10-meter mixed platform, the Mexicans added 311.13 units, to leave with the silver the Chinese pair of Zigan Huang and Jingjing Jiao, with 308.88, and the bronze to the Russians Illia Smirnov and Daria Selvanoskaia, with 286.32.
The second gold medal was in the three-meter synchronised springboard, where the selected Pan American Games Lima 2019, Dolores Hernández and Carolina Mendoza won the event with 291 points.

Hernandez and Mendoza left with the silver the Chinese pair of Minghong Leng and Yi Shen, with 288.60 units, and with the bronze the American binomial of Tabea Lenz and Carolina Scult, with 274.20.
With a day to go until the completion of the activities of the dives at the Universiada Mundial Naples 2019, the Alejandra Estrella regiomontana and the Veracruz Dolores Hernández have become the best of the national representation.
Estrella has won three medals: two gold in single platform and mixed platform, as well as silver in synchronised; while Hernandez carries two: one silver in three meters and one gold in synchronised at the same distance.
