A man and a woman in a street situation were killed after being beaten and burned, during the early hours of Thursday, in a park in mayor Miguel Hidalgo. 
According to preliminary reports in addition to the couple, one more person was injured after the assault and was taken to a hospital for care.
The Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (PGJ-CDMX) initiated a research folder for the facts.  
According to the newspaper Reform the three people were assaulted by unknown people in the vicinity of Lira Park. The couple were beaten to death and later set on fire.
Emergency bodies came to the scene after receiving the distress call but the man and woman had already passed away, their bodies were taken to the local Semepho.
So far the PGJ-CDMX has not given further details about this aggression and it is unknown whether there are detainees.
