The week began with a controversy. Taylor Swift posted a statement on her Tumblr account commenting that Scooter Braun, representative of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato was left with all her songs prior to her last album. Scooter bought Taylor’s previous record company, which means that much of his discography no longer belongs to her but to Braun. Taylor reported that he was never aware of this deal and therefore did not have the opportunity to rescue his own material. In this video Miley does not hesitate to make clear her stance on sexual diversity and feminism. With messages like “virginity is a construction” and “I’m not an object,” he shows his discontent with the social problems that go through us. Florence and The Machine is celebrating the 10th year of their debut album “Lungs” and that’s why the band announced that they will release a special edition of the album that will include rarities and demos, curated by Florence Welch herself. In addition to the digital version, you can get “Lungs” in box format, which will contain postcards and photos never seen from that stage. It will be officially released on August 16 and can now be pre-ordered on the band’s official website.
