Tarímbaro, Michoacán.-The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Michoacán obtained a conviction of 33 years in prison against a male person, after proving responsibility for the murder of a young woman; occurred in 2018, in the municipality of Tarímbaro.
In an abbreviated procedure, the penalty was determined to sentence Daniel Efraín M., to 33 years in prison, after it was established that on 18 May 2018, he deprived Giovanna C of the life.
It was established that on the day of the events the person concerned was located in a house located in the Hacienda del Sol de Tarímbaro split, where the now sentenced arrived and Jonathan R. – currently subject to prosecution – who attacked her with a firearm , generating various injuries that were decisive for him to lose his life.
Derived from these facts, the respective inquiries were initiated, seeking an order of apprehension against him, which was given by the court and completed by the staff of the Public Prosecutor’s Office.
At a hearing, and after the abbreviated procedure was authorized, the Control Judge handed down a verdict against Daniel Efraín M., 33 years in prison, as well as payment for damage.
It should be noted that Daniel Efraín M., is also related in two other acts, one for attempted murder, which occurred on May 30, 2018 and in a homicide recorded on January 12 of that same year, in the colony Las Primaveras; both facts recorded in this capital.
