Yesterday, the federal government’s Development Programs delegate, Carlos Lomelí, resigned from his position after being identified as the centerpiece of a network of pharmaceutical companies that seeks to be a contractor for The López Obrador administration in the mega-bidding of medicines.

An investigation by Mexicans Against Corruption and Impunity (MCCI) revealed that Lomelí Bolaños leads a pharmaceutical network consisting of nine companies engaged in the sale of medicines that have been shared by the same partners, legal guardians, representatives and even domicile in Zapopan, Jalisco, although the official only recognizes as his own four of these companies.
