President Andrés Manuel López Obrador accused them “mounting a provocation” last night at the hotel where he was resting in Ciudad Valles in San Luis Potosí.
“Yesterday when I got to sleep in Valles, they sent me a group to provoke, that they would go into the hotel and want to get into the room, provoking. I told them, here I am. I got off, I don’t have a bodyguard. I don’t have to protect myself with anyone,” he said.

“I told them ‘here I am, I don’t bring bodyguards’, I don’t have to protect myself with anyone, they’re provocative, they don’t respect.”
On Friday night, a group of demonstrators from the Directorate of Drinking Water and Sewerage of that Potosino municipality broke into the hotel and tried to prevent the representative from accessing him on his way to rest, in protest at the president’s lack of attention municipal.”

López Obrador accused a breach of his privacy.
“I come to rest, I’m not going to get into anyone’s house, if someone comes and gets into our house, gets into our privacy, provocations of a problem they have in Valleys of the water, they’re caught up from there and someone mounted that provocation ” but that’s not why I’m going to be surrounded by bodyguards,” he said.
“Those from last night, if they did it in good faith, if they were manipulated and it wasn’t their intention, they must be ashamed of what they did, because I don’t hurt anyone. He who fights for justice has nothing to fear,” he argued.
