Morelia, Michoacán.- The governor of Michoacán, Silvano Aureoles Conejo, stated that his government has been able to catch up with the deeds workers, suppliers and institutional third parties.
In a media meeting, the state representative reported that in 2015, the year in which he received the reins of the state, the debt to suppliers and institutional third parties was more than 7 billion pesos, because for two periods of government , the money earmarked for the health sector was used for other items such as the payment of the education payroll, current expenditure, among others, in addition to an abuse in the contract of administrative personnel.
“It was also abused in the contract of administrative personnel, on average we have two administrative workers for one doctor and in some regions up to three administrative by a nurse or a doctor, that generated a deficit close to one billion pesos for payroll in health.”
With regard to medicines, Aureoles Conejo abounded in the former michoacan governments spending 2 billion pesos, however, in their mandate, medicines have been obtained with 800 million less.
It also said that, in the same year, the infrastructure in primary care, as well as the 27 regional hospitals, were completely destroyed, in addition to 38 unfinished works.
