The collage, the goldsmithing, the ceramics, and the illustration will be some of the protagonists of this new edition of Mercado Guaira, a space of dissemination that promotes the work and talent of various exhibitors, proposing a different look to the trades traditional with author design.
Since its appearance in 2018, Mercado Guaira has become a true festival of local creative trades, giving a different look to craftsmanship and that this Sunday, August 4 will take the corridors of the first level of the Drugstore of Providencia, to offer a must-see cultural landscape that will showcase unique and eye-catching products.
Among the outstanding exhibitors is the Karsngen project and its eternal self-sustaining terrariums, whose most striking feature is that they do not require irrigation or maintenance thanks to the microclimate generated by the same plants, allowing their permanence in time for years.
The design studio Tipo Móvil will also be present with its typographic workshop founded by graphic designer Andrea Torres, and which is dedicated to the rescue and reinvention of the profession of typographic printing also known as letterpress. Print decorative sheets with their own designs on 100% cotton fiber papers.
The illustration will be represented among other artists by Tite Calvo, in whose work painting and graphic and illustrative design converge, taking as reference the world of art, tarot, pop culture, advertisements and tattoos.
