Top-level experts in institutional communication and media strategies for political campaigns are part of the faculty line that will teach the Diploma in Institutional Communication and Political Campaign Design organized by the Institute of Social research of UNAM.

IIS-UNAM has been offering this postgraduate degree since 2008 and this will be the 21st edition, as it has also been held in Honduras and the states of Guerrero, Puebla, Veracruz, Durango and Coahuila.
The diploma will address the building of the image of political institutions, strategies for disseminating information and how these institutions seek to persuade society that their actions are correct.
In addition, the topic of political campaigns will discuss the design and dissemination of messages and the preparation of political discourse, as well as the preparation for discussions and the definition of political marketing and its forms of projection, among other topics.
The cost of the postgraduate fee is 22,500 pesos plus VAT, although there is a 20% discount for payment in a single exhibition, as well as for alumni, students and unam workers and will be taught on Fridays from 16:00 to 20:00 hours, and Saturdays from 10:00 to 14:00 hours at the UnaM Institute Social Research of UNAM.

The first module of the diploma is named Political communication in the 21st century; the second, The Political Project and the Strategy of the Office of Social Communication; the third, the operation of the Office of Social Communication; the fourth, The Relationship with the Media; the fifth, Operation of Political Communication, and the sixth, Political communication in election campaigns.

Mayela Delgadillo Bárcena, Director General of CISACI Strategy, Communication and Advocacy, will also give Chair; Juan Manuel Ortega Riquelme, consultant in digital strategy; Jorge Javier Romero Vadillo, professor-researcher in the Department of Politics and Culture of the UAM-Xochimilco; Emilio Saldaña (PIZU), founding partner of U-GOB magazine and analyst of new technologies; Maite Azuela Gómez, citizen activist and director of the organization Let’s stop becoming assholes, and Gabriel Sosa Plata, general director of Radio Educación.
