Sinaloa.- A great reception today had the taekwondoin Briseida Acosta Balarezo in San Pedro, Navolato, by the authorities, family, friends and children and young people who practice this martial sport. Navolato’s municipal president, Eliazar Gutierrez, welcomed him to the national team who won the gold medal at the 2019 Pan American Lima Games.
Juan José Acosta and Alma Rosa Balarezo, could not miss the event where their daughter Briseida was filled with congratulations and hugs for having crowned herself in the continental joust.” I am very proud and happy to achieve this Pan American gold medal and that motivates me to look for my dream, which is to represent Mexico in an Olympic Games. I am very grateful for this reception given to me by the government of Navolato,” the taekwondoin said.

Acosta Balarezo said that I hope the authorities will support the children more so that one day they can achieve their dreams of being pan-American, world and Olympic champion.

Briseida received a badge of recognition for the achievement in Lima 2019 and put aloft on behalf of Navolato and Mexico in this magnificent joust.
He mentioned that this year he plans to participate in some Grand Prix events and open to try to get the ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
