Morelia, Michoacán.- By means of a statement they inform that there is not yet a specific date to solve the impeachment process against the former Auditor of Michoacán, José Luis López Salgado, this because congress still needs to receive information that requested the defendant in addition to the legislative recess.
This was disclosed by the deputy president of the Jurisdictional Commission, Adriana Hernández Inigoz, who detailed that the documentation requested by López Salgado is related to the 2013 Public Treasury Account, information to be said of the party – the MichoacanO Evaluation Centre (Cemide) did not submit.
Around the legal times for the resolution, the Member emanating from the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI) mentioned that there is the possibility of extending itself through extensions.
Hernandez Inigoz said that none of the three members of the Judicial Commission have received money in return to tarnish the process, on the contrary he said that the Commission will not act under pressure from any legislator or figures outside Congress.
“If according to the law I know that there was omission of the former Auditor we will act to sanction, but if according to the evidence that is presented certain that we do not, we will also have to proceed, this does not mean that we have an agreement with either party.”
