translated from Spanish: They discharge to Metrobus driver who assaulted cyclist

The company operating the Metrobus in Mexico City discharged a line 1 driver who assaulted a bicycle dealer on Insurgentes Avenue, corner with Parroquia Street, Mayor Benito Juárez.
The complaint against the Metrobus operator was made by a young man via Twitter, where he posted a video showing how he struggles with a cyclist, who was allegedly run over by the unit on August 18.

After the video was released, the director general of Mexico City Metrobús, Roberto Capuano, reported that such behavior will not be tolerated, and that “given the justified public outrage” that was generated, the driver was discharged.

Given the justified public outrage generated by the circulating video of an operator of @MetrobusCDMX that is wrestling over Insurgentes with a delivery man on a bicycle, I communicate the following and reiterate that we do not tolerate this type of behavior. https://t.co/LdNVhuKbOj

“We regret this event and offer an apology for what has happened to those it has affected,” he said.
