The Eighth District Judge of Federal Criminal Processes of Jalisco acquitted Rubén Oseguera González, the Menchito, son of the leader of the Jalisco Next Generation Cartel (CJNG), Nemesio Oseguera.
According to the list of agreements of the Council of the Federal Judiciary (CJF), under file 680/2019, he was granted “the flat suspension of the acts claimed” in the amparo trial, so the judge ordered that Rubén Oseguera be notified of the decision , who remains at the Federal Center for Social Rehabilitation 15, in Villa Comaltitlán, Chiapas.

The Notimex agency reported that the Menchito will remain in jail, facing other pending money laundering, use of army-only weapons and bribery.
Oseguera González, who was arrested on 25 July 2015 in the Altamira colony of Zapopan, is also accused of being the alleged financial operator of cjNG.
He was previously apprehended in Zapopan in January 2014, but on December 26, 2014, a federal judge ordered his release for lack of evidence.
The determination of the Eighth District Judge of Federal Criminal Processes of Jalisco could be appealed by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic.
