Morelia, Michoacán.- Luis Manuel Antúnez Oviedo, National Delegate of Citizen Movement in Michoacán, remarked that it is urgent for the Mexican State to react promptly to the violence scenarios that are experienced in various parts of the state, and that were more evident during this Friday, August 30, 2019.
In the face of the clashes between armed groups that took place in some regions of the entity, Antúnez Oviedo said that these only show the lack of guarantees currently faced by the Michoacans, who see with helplessness the lack of security that is in the place that Inhabit.
What was observed this Friday, and that is an increasingly frequent scene, the National Delegate said, is that citizens cannot leave their homes with confidence, freedom and tranquility, and end up sheltering, affecting their daily lives.
It is regrettable, he said, that citizens face these scenarios of insecurity and constant uncertainty.
For this reason, the National Delegate remarked, from Movimiento Ciudadano Michoacán we call on the relevant authorities not to minimize what happened this Friday in several regions such as Tepalcatepec, Aguililla, Coalcomán, among others, not counting what has happened occurred in past days in areas of Zamora, Uruapan and Morelia.
“If action is not taken, violence can take scales that can be fatal, not only in Michoacan also in the country,” he concluded.
