Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Sinaloa is spending a significant streak in terms of influx of tourism and investment.
Sinaloa’s Secretary of Tourism, Oscar Pérez Barros, classified as a charity the development in tourist issues that the state is going through, because it has caused local, national and international investors to see the economy by that sector.
Connections
He noted that the creation and improvement of the tourism development and infrastructure that is connecting magical and stately villages, forest, mountain and beach destinations, where the governor of Sinaloa and the Secretary of Public Works are working to attract more tourism, has led to positive numbers for the sector.
It said that the Ministry of Tourism was responsible for carrying out the plan of activities for these routes that connect the destinations.
For this reason, activities have been created in which they are allowed to show all the qualities that each destination has, including handicrafts, gastronomy and culture.
Festivals
To mention one example, the Festival de la Jaiba, in Angostura, exceeded all expectations, as it had never had an event of that level.
Another activity was the largest chicharrón in Mexico, in Las Glorias, the Cosaltazo, which is expected every year; family fishing in Teacapán, among many others.
Work will be worked on in all municipalities, in coordination with the Ministry of Tourism, to preserve the economy generated by tourism.
Investment
In addition to increasing the chance of opportunity to attract investors to these destinations.
Pérez Barros referred to Mazatlan as the step Sinaloa needed to show off the other destinations.
This has caused seven international hotel chains to come and invest in the municipality, among which is Grupo Presidente.
