Morelia, Michoacán.- The chairman of the Committee on Finance and Public Debt of the State Congress, Arturo Hernández Vázquez, presented the report of activities of that commission corresponding to the first legislative year, there highlighted that 15 working meetings, both in United And Solo Commissions.
Arturo Hernández reported that in addition to the working meetings, there have also been 14 technical tables, in addition to the appearance of the Municipal President of Morelia before the United Commissions of Finance and Public Debt and Programming, Budget and Public Account in relation to the financing of the program “Together Illuminating Morelia”.
He also noted that 12 initiatives and points of agreement had been issued, including Reforms to the Fiscal Coordination Law of the State of Michoacán; Reforms to the Tax Code of the State of Michoacán; Initiative to reform, repeal and add various provisions of the Law on Manufacturing Planning, Budget, Public Expenditure and Government Accounting of the State of Michoacán; Initiative with a Decree character issuing the Law on Finance of the State of Michoacán, all of which are presented by the governor of the state.
Work was also under way on the decree outlawing Articles 62, 63, 64 and 65 on cedular taxes on personal income; 66, 67, 68, 69, 70 and 71 on cedular tax on the provision of professional services; 72, 73, 74 and 75 on cedular tax on the granting of the temporary use or enjoy of immovable property; 76, 77, 78, 79, 80 and 81, on cedular tax for business activities; 82, 83, 84, 85, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 91 and 92 on legal business tax and notary instruments, all of the Law on Finance of the State of Michoacán de Ocampo; as well as Articles 15, 16, 17 and 18 of the Income Act of the State of Michoacán.
He also worked on a Decree Initiative repealing various provisions of the Finance Law of the State of Michoacán de Ocampo; the “Third State Report kept by the State Public Administration” was glored; a Decree Initiative was attended to the repeal of the Legislative Decree; another Initiative with Draft Decree reforming article 102 of the Municipal Finance Law.

For his part, Mr Ernesto Núñez Aguilar applauded the work of his colleagues within the Commission and highlighted the transparency, effort and commitment with which the work of each and every member of the Commission has progressed.
In the same vein, MEP Wilma Zavala Ramírez, stressed that this type of exercises that are transparent and for society is what the citizens are looking for, so said, she will seek to do a similar exercise in the committee that she chairs that is that of Industry , Commerce and Service.
