Culiacán, Sinaloa.- The Ministry of Navy of Mexico reports that on August 27 and 30, staff attached to the Fourth Naval Region, in functions to support Public Security, in assistance with the Sinaloa Secretariat of Public Security, located and disabled four suspected clandestine laboratories, supplied with chemical precursors, equipment and material used for the development of synthetic drugs, at different geographical positions in Culiacán, Sinaloa.These actions were carried out after intelligence work was known for places allegedly engaged in the manufacture of synthetic drugs, so a reconnaissance operation was carried out in these areas, by Marine personnel, employing air and ground units, finding approximately 3,840 liters of suspected liquid methamphetamine and 2,938 liters of suspected liquid amphetamine, as well as material and equipment used for the making of synthetic drugs.

The alleged drug, as well as the material and equipment used found at the site, were made available to the competent authorities for the integration of the relevant research folder. It should be noted that in recent months personnel of the Mexican Navy have carried out important drug assurances in the state of Sinaloa; actions that contribute to the weakening of the production and distribution infrastructure of criminal groups operating in this region of the country, which significantly affects its financial and operational structure.
