A student at the Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUCosta) of the University of Guadalajara (UdeG) was found dead inside the campus, located in Puerta Vallarta, on the night of Wednesday, September 4.
The body of Galilee Montserrat Rizo de la Rosa, a student of the law degree, was found in one of the bathrooms of the educational campus facilities.
The University stated that, after finding the student, staff from the Civil Security and Protection Unit performed the medical protocol, without success.

The municipal authorities, as well as the State Attorney General’s Office, already carry out the corresponding inquiries to determine the causes of the student’s death.
The institution released in a statement that as a sign of mourning, classes were suspended on Thursday.
“The University of Guadalajara shows its solidarity for the student community and the relatives of our companion, to whom she will give permanent accompaniment,” he said.
