In a statement, it indicated that the detention was carried out by elements of the Secretariats of the National Defence (Sedena) and The Navy (Semar), as well as the National Guard and the Federal Police, following a request for support to the Coordination Bureau for the Construction of Peace in that entity.
He noted that in a coordinated manner, elements of the security institutions placed, on Federal Highway 200, a convoy made up of various vehicles on its way to Petacalco, where they secured weapons of various calibers.

The unit added that the persons and weapons insured were made available to the Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office in Acapulco, where the exact number of detainees will be defined.
