Rosario Robles’ driver’s license submitted by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic (FGR) to get a federal judge to impose justified pre-trial detention on him, is false, secured the defense of the former sedatu and Sedesol owner.
Attorney Julio Hernández Barros reported in a statement that the ID not only has a signature and a fake address, but that the photograph is also likely to have been taken from the internet to make the license.

“This is an evidently apocryphal document that at the time was refuted by this defence and which we are now able to make public public public. The Public Prosecutor’s Office presented this document with false data, signature and photography.”
Hernández Barros explained that the fake license shows that Robles’ address is in Tennyson Street without a number, Axotla colony, in the mayor Alvaro Obregón, “when in fact, The street of Tennyson is located in Polanco, in the mayor Miguel Hidalgo”.
Robles’ defense also said that the appeal hearing of injunctions to be held on Friday was canceled.

The lawyer explained that the FGR asked judge Graciela Santés Magaña, who holds the Fourth Criminal Unitary Court, to recuse herself from the appeal in which she would rule on whether she confirmed pretrial detention or released Robles.
“The intention of the Public Prosecutor’s Office in recusing the magistrate is visible: to prolong unnecessarily and unjustly the pre-trial detention to which the former Secretary of State is subject. This is an obvious example of the kind of “girl” to which the accusing party is willing to participate,” he said in the statement.
“The legal team led by Julio Hernández Barros regrets and disapproves of the ‘dirty game’ of the Public Prosecutor’s Office by disqualifying and questioning the dignity, professionalism, impartiality and experience of the judge Santés Magaña to know the case, which that did not when control judge Felipe de Jesús Delgadillo Padierna was appointed ‘by lot’, which was legally and ethically prevented,” the lawyer said.
Rosario Robles’ legal defence demanded that the rule of law be respected and the hearing replenished as soon as possible under the conditions that were already established.
