Culiacán, Sinaloa.- On the occasion of the celebration of the 209th anniversary of the Independence of Mexico, the government of Sinaloa hired the MS Band to liven up the traditional ceremony of September 15. This year’s festivities featured different artists such as ‘Gente de Maza’, ‘Los 2 de la S’ and ‘La Banda MS’, who made the Culichi audience dance to the rhythm of different songs on the stage located on the esplanade of the Government Palace.

The presentation began after the governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel gave the famous cry of independence, at the end of his message the pyrotechnic fires lit up the Sinaloense sky and later introduced the members of the MS Band, in 22:36 hours on the esplanade of the Government Palace.

A Mexican night full of successes was offered by the original group of Mazatlan, who gave away their great songs such as ‘El color de tu ojos’, ‘Tu postura’ and ‘A mejor’, songs that were choreographed by the thousands of attendees of the Mexican celebration.

The event was organized by the Sinaloense Institute of Culture (ISIC), and featured a great artistic show where regional groups, folk dances and different cultural activities were present.
