The National Weather Service (SMN) reported that on Monday it is expected to enter the first cold front number of the 2019-2020 season to the northwest of the country, just with the beginning of the fall in the Northern Hemisphere, which will enter at 2:50 hours, time of central Mexico.
Heavy rains will frame the arrival of both, which will begin on the night of this Sunday and monday morning in regions of Sonora, Jalisco, Colima, Michoacán, Oaxaca, Chiapas and Campeche.
Precipitation of punctual to strong in Sinaloa, Nayarit, Veracruz, Yucatan and Quintana Roo is also expected, as well as intervals of showers in the states of Mexico, Baja California Sur, Coahuila, Zacatecas and Morelos, as well as in Mexico City.

In a statement, the agency under the National Water Commission (Conagua) reported that the remnants of Lorena and a low pressure channel extended in the Sierra Madre Occidental in interaction with tropical wave number 40, which runs through the south and west of Mexico, will cause such weather conditions.
In addition to tropical wave number 41, spread in the southeast of the country, associated with a low pressure channel located over the Yucatan Peninsula and the tropical depression Mario, which weakens west of Cabo San Lucas, Baja California Sur.
At 7 p.m., central Mexico time, Mario was located 180 kilometers west of Santa Fe and 280 kilometers west-northwest of Cabo San Lucas, both in Baja California Sur.
It carried maximum sustained winds of 55 kilometers per hour, streaks of 75 kilometers per hour and moved north-northwest at 17 kilometers per hour.
