Mexico City.- Last Friday, September 20th, Mexico recorded the most violent day so far this year. According to data from the Inter-Agency Group of the Federal Government, there were 114 victims of intentional homicide that day, the highest figure of 2019.Until then the most violent day was June 8, when there were 113 victims.
Last Friday, Jalisco was the entity with the highest number of victims, with 18, followed by Guanajuato with 15, Morelos with 10, Baja California and Chihuahua with 9 each, and Michoacán and Guerrero with 6 each. On that day 17 bags with an undetermined number of corpses were found on a site in the Municipality of Tala, Jalisco.In Tlaquepaque there were four crimes: in Colonia Francisco Silva Romero was found a charred man and another body in a state of decomposition , in the Artisan Colony a body wrapped in bags was located, and another person was shot dead in the La Scissor colony.
In Guadalajara, a motorist was shot dead in front of his wife. On the same day a command attacked the facilities of the Attorney General’s Office of Guanajuato in the Municipality of Celaya, leaving one dead and three injured. The execution of a former municipal policeman on board a vehicle in the municipality of Apaseo el Alto was also reported.
In the community of Ojo Zarco, Municipality of Apaseo el Grande, three bodies were located accompanied by a cardboard with a message from a criminal group. A body was abandoned under a bridge of the Metropolitan Axis, at the height of the Tepetate del Gallo Village, in the Purísima del Rincón Municipality.In Cuernavaca, Morelos six young people between 20 and 25 years old were shot dead inside a house.
